The Tim Henman Foundation has been delighted to help support Days @ Jacks, group themed activity days and weekends for life limited and life threatened young adults. Responding to the needs of young people and delivering the social experience that they want has made these respite days very popular.
Several young people who completed their education and left college have found it challenging to gain any employment due to their health condition. These days help provide an opportunity to get out and socialise with other young people and support each other, breaking down barriers and social isolation.
Since March the sessions have gone on line with the focus on fun and participation.
Naomi House and Jacksplace Hospice care for children and young people from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, the Isle of Wight and beyond.
